Grape Varieties : Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre.
Soil Type : Clayey and chalky.
Yield : 35 hl / ha. If necessary a selective pruning is used to reduce the yield.
Type of culture : Environment friendly culture.
Vinification : As indicated by it’s name, the grapes which compose the assembly of this vintage result from the oldest vines of the field. Harvest is carried out manually and vatted after a plot selection and sorting of the grapes.. The maceration period is about 20-30 days. During this period, the musts are worked by “délestages or pigeages”.
Maturing : For half of the vintage in concrete vats, for other half out of oak barrels, during 14 month. No fining. Light filtering before bottling.
Packaging : Bordelaise Élégance 750 ml bottles.
Magnums Bordelaise Elégance 1.5L & Jéroboam 3L.
Cork stopper.
May be aged : 6 to 8 years.

In the mouth, we find the aromas present on the nose. The tannins are very pleasant, round, but with a pleasant freshness.
